Hi!
I have a project in Compact Framework, to synchronize the data with the
server I call Web Services.
In the development machine I never had problems, but today I was to
make deploy (I created a setup project in Visual Studio) in the
customer and it did not function. I catch the next error
message "Unable to read data from the transport connection".
I tried to accede to the Web Service through browser and I can execute
the Web Methods without problems. The URL
(//IPMaquina/WebService/WebService.asmx) that I used is the same that
is in the properties of proxy of the client (PDA).
I verified if the PDA had connection with the InterNet and has.
Someone has some suggestion of where it can be the error. I tried a
Web Service "Hello World" that this only returns string and nothing.
