Strange issue with windows 2003 64bit server. We have websites and they are
stored on the D drive. What happens is y ou can have all your permissions to
those folders set up correctly. The websites work. You can access and view
the sites. If you reboot the machine and you try the websites prompt you for
a pass but it wont matter you cannot view the sites. Upon checking the
website folders on the D drive it appears that something or the system
itself has removed all the permissions and not even the administrator has
permissions to view the sites. What could cause this? Each time you go back
and manually set the correct permissions on the D drive the sites work but
the next time you reboot the machine it removes them all on its
own...........
