Hi Thanks to all of u who replied to the query. I have solved the prob, best way of doing the job is writing a custom validator on the user control .
Pass ur client argu this way (object source, ServerValidateEventArgs args) to ur server side code and indiacate args.IsValid = true, false .....to take decision.
