If .net you can resize the images before rendering them to the client,
if classic asp then you'll need a component to do it - but instead of
just streaming the bits from sql you'd be working the image in your code
for that client.  That also lets you do things like thumbnails, etc. for
the client.

The issue is more a browser question than an asp.net question though -
unless you want to render the images into pdf files (would require a
component) then printing from the browser has some issues sometimes.

Hope someone can help with this.

I am scanning an image file and uploading it to the sql server. Once 
there on another page I open the image and it shows pretty well. 
However when I print the page almost half the image gets cut off and 
the rest of it does not even print on a secondary page. 

When I change the resolution when scanning I can get the image to 
print good but I have a couple hundred existing images in the db and 
don't want to rescan all of them. 

Any help would be appreciated.
