I have a web form with 4 seperate data grids on it. I am adding sorting to each of them and need to handle the sort event for each. Some code that I have for example only have one datagrid on the page so they just simply reference the datagrid by "this.ViewState" in the function that is assigning the sort paramaters. But when I implement the same code on my page with 4 data grids I get an error that the ViewState bag can't be "cast" I think to the type of DataGrid. How would I reference the data grids on the post back from the view state? Would it be simply ViewState["datagridname"]? Or is there a way to search for them in the viewstate bag?
