That data set is in memory... You can treat it as an object just like any other 
object.  You run into state issues though.  I have done something similar with 
customer objects and serializing them to the file system to have state at every 
step.

Hi 
A Silly question ...but I don't know.

In datagrid i am allowing user to do changes 
after that user clicks on "DONE" button, 
at this time i dont want to update the datasource, 
i want to hold updated data in a dataset,

because i want user to perform  one more step ,
once the last step is done by user properly.

then i want the data to be updated in datasource with all changes made in  
other steps.

so the question is ...is it possible holding data in dataset for some time?
