look in your web.config for the line

<authentication mode="Forms" >
  <forms name="appNameAuth" path="/" loginUrl="login.aspx"
protection="All" timeout="30">
  </forms>
    </authentication>

set the loginURL to what you want to redirected to.
i think that the default is default.aspx.

I am using the following line of code to log into a site, and redirect
back
to a calling page. It is simply sending me to default.aspx thought.
I
don't know why it is, but I don't have a default.aspx, I use
index.aspx.
Does anyone know how FormsAuthentication needs to be set-up to change
this
default?

FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(customerId,
RememberLogin.Checked);
