Use dataAdapter fill to get the Spreadsheet into a datatable. The right connection string will connect to Excel data as if it were a DB.
Unmap the dataTable from Exce and Remap it to sqLserver and tell the DataTable to acceptchanges. ADO.net can create the table and transfer the data easily. this is really what ADO.net thrives at converting data.
