I have a field which has a range validation tool on it.
The range is 1 to 50. But the validation control has a hole in it, in
that if the field is left blank, the form can still be submitted.

I have tried using some javascript to catch the empty field, but
that didn't work because ASP.Net id not accept any javascript in the
form declaration
        <form id="Form1" method="post" runat="server" onSubmit="return
dataValidation(this)">.

What's the best way to use a Range and Validation script?
Is there a custom control out there?

thanks
LT
