Thanks man!

I downloaded the Ajax.dll and some tutorials. It looks like what I need.

I have been doing asp.net for 5 years now. But I have never worked with the
huge datasets like I have in this new application. I need to do more on the
client-side or the response times will be unacceptable. I guess I will be
learnig AJAX real quickly!

Thanks again,
Bob

Yup. AJAX will be perfect for what you are trying to do. It will do what you
want and you won't notice any postback. The directions for using AJAX are
pretty straight forward.

Subject: [AspNetAnyQuestionIsOk] Re: Search repeater using javascript

Actually I have not done anything yet. I know I need this to be
client-side. This page needs to be able to display a lot of rows in
my repeater and I need fast search capabilities. I definitely
cannot postback to the server each time.

I will check out this AJAX. I know a little javascript but I am no
expert. I have worked with XML quite a bit.

Thanks for the help!
