Hi, I am getting this Exception when i try to map a drive in a Active Directory2003 Server. "A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated."
I searched in the net and found some related site. http://www.repliweb.com/html/support/kb/faq/faq_301.html I am logging in as Administrator. still i am getting the error. Can anyone guide me how can i give all these previlleges to this user/administrator. I can map a local drive using explorer but when I try to map using RDM I get the following error message: "A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated." A: This error message usually means that the user you specify in the mapping is missing some privileges for background mapping. Make sure that the user has the following privileges on the machine (even if it is a domain user, the privileges must be granted on the machine itself): 1. Act as part of operating system 2. Log on as batch 3. Log on as service 4. Increase quotas (Windows 2003 - adjust memory quotas) 5. Create a token object 6. Replace a process level token NOTE: When using a stand-alone Windows XP server, defining the mapping in RDM, in the user field, instead of just writing "username", use server\user style, suing your machine name as the server: my_xp\username.
