Study groups require you to study(!) on your own during the week to develop the
subject matter. At the end of the study time, you gather with fellow students to
review what you've learned on your own.

The beauty of study groups is that you learn a heck of a lot more than with a user
group because you have to INVEST a lot more in your personal development.

Study group are just an extrinsic tool to help you reach your intrinsic goals.
Without a personal commitment on your part to crack the book during the week, they
aren't much good.

The good news is that there are a variety of local user groups you can attend. And
soon a new study group will be starting in Rockville covering the challenging XML Web
Services Exam. (70-310 VB .NET & 70-320 C# .NET)
