Software Engineer � Genomics applications
Celadon Laboratories, a fast-growing genomics software company based
near College Park, seeks a senior software engineer to work on custom
implementations of its oligonucleotide assay-design and ecommerce
software platform, and to work on the development of new genomic
software applications.
Candidates must be able to learn quickly and demonstrate the ability
for high-level critical and abstract thinking.The ideal candidate
will have 3-7 or more years experience in implementing architectural
and design documents, documenting complicated systems,
implementing and modifying algorithms, web pages, and databases,
participating in a team environment, and testing. Experience with
genomic and DNA test technologies is a plus. Candidates must be able
tomeet deadlines and should have a degree in computer science or
related field; experience in genomics applications is highly
desirable.
Technical skills should include .NET (Visual Basic & ASP), SQL
Server, Oracle,XML, XSLT, Javascript and C++. Salary is highly
competitive.
