SQL Server DBA Start: 7/12/04 Length:

Job
Description The DBA/Programmer will report directly to the
Project Manager, but will also provide support to other Project
Managers of software applications, and will work with the System
Administrator in establishing procedures for maintaining hardware
and software used in development
and production.
Responsibilities 1. Manage, organize,
and optimize SQL 2000 Databases 2. Review all databases
designs 3. Create, store, and catalog DDLs and DMLs 4. Create
and oversee the creation of all SQL Queries 5. Establish protocol
for SQL query development by programmers 6. Deploy and maintain
development and production databases
Qualifications 1.
Fluent in managing the administrative components to SQL Server
2000 2. Fluent in designing complex databases 3. Fluent in
writing complex queries, stored procedures and triggers 4.
Experienced in data migration and maintenance 5. Experienced in
optimizing the database component of software applications 6.
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBAs)
BS/BA,
MCDBA, and have at least 5 years experience in a related
field.
Special Considerations 2 to 5 years of experience
with ASP and _javascript_
