Develop the front end for databases and web-based applications using ASP.Net (VB.Net) Experience writing, supporting, and optimizing stored procedures. Attend departmental and project team meetings and participates with other teams to enhance database and application development efforts with other Enterprise efforts. Work in a team environment to enhance and manage existing applications and databases to gather information inputted to a web- front end for multiple user access (i.e. restructure tables for more efficient data storage and retrieval). Maintain technical documentation for operational support. Inventory location of current code, software, and hardware to generate diagram of existing infrastructure for efficient retrieval and access of files for future troubleshooting Candidate must have excellent communication skills to interact with the client and other database administration. Candidate must be very organized; able to manage several tasks and projects at once. Experience/Skills Required Bachelor or Master Degree to include a minimum of twelve (12) hours in management science, computer science, information systems, and/or data processing. A BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferable. (work experience will be considered) Must have 2-3 years experience with VB.net 3 years of experience writing, supporting, and optimizing stored procedures. Minimum of 3 years experience in Visual Basic, ASP, COM, VBScript, and JavaScript SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGIES/Hardware/Software required: (include program experience) Experience in VB.net, ASP, Visual Basic, SQL . Candidate must have good DBMS skills in multiple database applications as well as experience developing applications for the web.
