Description
Looking for team player that defines, develops, implements, and
supports healthcare related VB applications integrated with SQL. Must
have demonstrated experience with developing and supporting visual
basic application. Participates in implementation and phased rollout
of software. Interacts with appropriate business units and customers
to troubleshoot day-to-day projection problems, sets guidelines, tests
new application releases and supports functionality. Daily monitoring
of jobs and batch processes. Activities include researching,
resolving, and responding to customer telephone calls, service
requests, call backs and/or escalation in accordance with current
standards. May involve writing code and the utilization of debugging
tools to develop customer resolution or workaround.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information System or related
field
Requirements
Requires 5+ years progressive programming experience, client-sever
application development; database design and optimization; as well as
sound test plan methodologies. 3-4 years experience developing
n-tiered application on Microsoft platform is required. Strong
initiative, creativity, and good communication skills are a must. Must
be able to work productively, either independently or in a
collaborative team environment, and to effectively adapt to rapidly
changing technology and apply it to business needs. Preference will be
given to candidates with a high level skill set in SQL Server that
includes proficiency in stored procedures, triggers, Transact-SQL,
index definition, clustering, and other database administration skills
in engineering and test lab environments.
