We are currently engaged with a dynamic company who is seeking several Project Managers on a full time direct basis. The project manager must be experienced in the design and development of multi tiered online and offline applications, including eCommerce, Publication and Membership websites supporting B2B and B2C traffic. In this role, you will manage complex, high profile software development projects with rapid timelines and evolving requirements. The individual will participate in all phases of the lifecycle of software application development, including scope, requirements, design, development, testing and deployment; the candidate must possess a thorough understanding of the software development process. The PM will be expected to coordinate across discrete business and functional areas and communicate effectively across the organization. The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to effectively manage work sessions with technical architects and business sponsors. The appropriate candidate will have at least five years of experience in managing software development with an emphasis on eCommerce web applications. Experience working in an eCommerce environment supporting high volume, transactional applications deployed on web farms a plus. Desired experience with content management and transactional processing applications. Previous experience performing software development desired. Thorough understanding of Microsoft web technologies (.Net, ASP.net, ASP, XML/XSL, HTML, JavaScript, SQL) and development techniques. We are seeking local candidates only.
