My client in Frederick, MD is looking for a senior level person to assist with a MS Commerce Server migration project. They currently have an E-Commerce site built on legacy ASP / Commerce Server 2000 /Biztalk 2000 technology. They want to upgrade / migrate / redesign the site to utilize Commerce Server 2002 and ASP.NET. Candidates should have experience with both versions of Commerce Server, as well as experience with both legacy ASP and ASP.NET (mostly VB.NET, some C#) technology (previous upgrade /migration projects would be a HUGE plus), be willing to work on-site in Frederick, MD with occasional travel to the headquarters in New York, NY (all travel paid by client). Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with users to gather/analyze requirements is a must. This is a minimum 3 month contract position, with the possibility of multiple long-term extensions if they like you.
