Position: Senior Software Engineer
We have an immediate need for a highly motivated individual to help
support our engineering team in a development role focusing on
parsing technology.
We have a leading technology; great people; a fast paced, dynamic,

right candidate with a "can do" attitude.
Primary activities will include:
� Extend the grammar and other constructs of our SQL parser for
Oracle and DB2 using lex/yacc and C++.
� Work with other development engineers to reverse engineer
network protocols related to database communication.
� Work with other development engineers and quality assurance
testers to write automated tests of low-level system components.
� Work with development engineers and quality assurance testers
to design, integrate and test new reports using third party tools
such as Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports and Brio.
� Help maintain the development infrastructure of Solaris,
Linux, AIX, HP-UX and Windows machines running Oracle 8i/9i/10g and
DB2 UDB.
The successful candidate will have:
� Five years or more of related work experience as senior
engineer developing and testing complex database systems.
� Technical skills in relational databases. Oracle and DB2
required, SQL Server desirable.
� C++ programming required. Java/scripting a plus.
� Report writing skills in Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal
Reports or Brio desired.
� Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and
organizational skills
� Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
� Team player
Must be local to Bethesda/Rockville, Maryland area
