I decided to throw together a quick walk through of using ASP.Net 2.0
Master Pages. It's fairly basic, but I think is very easy to follow for
someone familiar with asp.net a little.

It is done in Visual Studio 2005 Web Edition Express, which for those of
you that aren't playing with ASP 2.0 that's a free beta download.

If you aren't already working with ASP.Net 2.0 then I would recommend
you install it in a virtual PC / Virtual server to isolate it from your
work computer. The betas are usually fairly stable but .net 2.0 has a
lot of components and I'd really recommend having a second box / virtual
box for it even if you usually venture into betas on your production
development servers / desktops.

For those of you that haven't used Virtual PC, Virtual Server, or VMWare
I'd suggest coming out to the Rockville meeting to see Virtual Server
being demonstrated.

Please let me know what you think of this tutorial, good, bad, boring,
loved it, etc. Also we're taking requests for other topics to write or
video about.

I look forward to your feedback and meeting anyone at the meeting June
1st,
