G1440, an Information Technology consulting company in Baltimore, is 
searching for ASP.Net Developers to join our team. These are full-
time employee positions. Benefits include medical, dental, vision,

Your first assignment will be to work onsite for one of our large, 
rapidly growing, well-known Baltimore customers.  The project is a 
large-scale new development project using ASP.Net that will last a 
minimum of 9 months.  After this project is complete, you will have 
the opportunity to work at another client site in the Baltimore area 
or move onto an in house G.1440 Professional Services project.

Requirements:  Senior level ASP.NET experience in a multi-tiered 
environment.  

Position Purpose: 
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the 
design, development, and delivery of applications within the 
Technology Division.  This person will need to: (i) be able to 
understand the SDLC model and what their specific activities are in 
designing and then delivering a solid, robust application; (ii) to 
understand how to develop and enforce coding standards and source 
code development standards; (iii) to design and develop code that is 
clean, understandable, maintainable, and solid; (iv) to design, 
develop, and implement solid test plans to accurately test the 
application code, functions, modules, and programs; and (v) to 
develop and maintain detailed and accurate documentation per all 
project standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and deliver applications to include:
architecture 
design, prototyping of concepts to proof of concept, development of 
coding standards, design and development of source code and test 
plans, code and module design, development and testing, application 
debugging, design and implementation of code that follows efficient 
design techniques, and code development that meets and exceeds the 
intent of the design of the application.
·  Effectively manage day-to-day tasks / activities of a team of 
developers to effectively meet the deliverables and schedule of a 
large, complex software development project.
·  Lend support to various business and technology teams as
necessary 
during design, development, and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, 
robust solutions.
·  Be able to clearly communicate complex technical designs and 
solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both 
technical and non-technical personnel.
·  Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e. day-to-day 
discussions, team meetings) and written (requirements and design 
specifications) form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear 
and concise in all communications.
·  Accurately determine, assign, track, and manage project task, 
activity, documentation, and time information per internal standards.
·  Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution
design / 
project.
·  Support the development of team members from a professional and 
technical level.
·  Effectively manage multiple priorities of a team of software 
developers.
·  Be able to occasionally travel as necessary.
·  Perform additional job-related duties as requested.

Skills:
· Strong design and development experience with C#, ASP.NET, and
.NET 
framework technologies (i.e. .NET Remoting, MSMQ, Web Services, etc.).
·  Thorough working knowledge of the application design and 
development processes, methodologies, and their direct implementation 
to applications projects.
·  Sound understanding of OO principles as applied to software 
development.
·  Strong programming, code development, code debugging and
testing 
skills, troubleshooting skills, and experience with numerous 
operating systems, development environments, programming languages, 
and architectures.
·  Experience in developing and executing a software
implementation 
plan.
·  Strong knowledge and experience with SQL and software
interaction 
with databases such as Oracle through APIs such as OCI and ODBC.
·  Strong decision making and problem solving skills (i.e. design, 
debugging, and testing) and experience with software development 
projects.
·  Excellent English communications skills.
·  Excellent ability to understand and express complex topics.
·  Demonstrated leadership and attention to detail skills through 
prior experience at the tactical / implementation levels.
·  Ability to coach, mentor, and train personnel (i.e. software 
developers) within a technical organization.
Education / Experience:
· Microsoft .NET Certifications, AND
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
or a 
related field, AND
· At least 8 (eight) years of experience in software development 
using object-oriented languages, AND
· At least 3 (three) years of experience in software development 
using .NET, OR
· Relevant combination of education and experience.
·  Preferred: Master's degree in a similar / related field.

Contractors will also be considered.  We are open to 1099 or W2 
contractors. Our W2 contractors are also eligible for full G1440 
benefits.  This position may also lead to full time direct employment 
with our client.
