This includes developing web based applications to facilitate and assist with internal research and missions related to the goals of the client. Some of the duties associated with this role include: * Analyzing, defining, and documenting system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, creating interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. * Writing and maintaining functional and technical specifications. * Developing and maintaining plans outlining steps and time estimates for developing, testing, and installing applications. * Researching and evaluating software and hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms. * Converting designs and specifications into computer code. * Designing and coding screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems. * Compiling and analyzing code and correcting errors detected in compile process. * Creating test transactions and running tests to find errors and confirm program meets specifications. * Consulting with client to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to attain client approval. * Writing and maintaining documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. * Writing documentation or reviewing documentation written by others that describes installation and operating procedures. * Providing technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with program. * Training end users or technical support staff to use newly developed and or existing programs. * Analyze, install, and test upgrades of externally developed application programs. * Monitor performance of programs after implementation Work Environment : Team: 30% Individual: 70% Client Face: 30% Work Week: 38 hrs Experience Needed to Succeed : * 3+ years of development experience overall * 2 years of .NET advanced web application development * 2 years of experience working with database backend * Bachelors Degree from a 4 year University * You must be authorized for work for any US employer * NO 3RD PARTIES Nice to have skills * MCP, MCAD or MCSD * Experience working with SharePoint portal Server Applicable Skills: ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, SQL Server, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Requirements analysis, requirements gathering, coding, testing, debugging Information : If you would like more information please call Carlos @ 703.538.2596 x9102 or email your most current resume to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the Job Title in the subject. $500 Referral Bonus : If you are not interested in the opportunity but know of an excellent candidate we provide a $500 dollar referral bonus for all referrals.
