Job Description : The role of a Security Vulnerability Engineer will be as a researcher and developer on our clients application security and vulnerability knowledgebase team. Some of your responsibilities will include: * Researching, documenting, designing, and developing vulnerability detection rules to identify security-relevant programming flaws, analyze API behavior, and identify and research insecure coding practices in C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET and other managed languages. * Develop tests and validation strategies, create and execute unit tests for all the implemented vulnerability detection rules, and integrate the tests with a core analysis engine. * Design and build other security related tools to be used by the product development team. In terms of personal characteristics the ideal candidate is a team player who is eager to work in an environment based around collaboration and team success over personal glory. Someone with a "do-what-it-takes" attitude would fit extremely well in the company. Work Environment : Team: 50% Individual: 50% Work Week: 40 hrs Development: 70% Business Analysis: 25% Maintenance: 5% Experience Needed to Succeed : * 4+ years of development experience (overall) in multiple languages with a recent focus on .NET managed languages.
