Job Title: Junior - Mid-Level .NET Developer Location: Washington DC Metro Area
Job Summary: Working with several application development projects concurrently, the qualified individual will create new tools and applications, and integrate them for customers within the Washington, DC Metro area. The projects will involve development of business management and workflow automation systems written in ASP.NET, using SQL Server as the backend. In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have experience in .Net (C# or VB.NET) and SQL Server. We are willing to train the right candidate, but you must be a quick learner, highly motivated, and display a good work ethic. Duties and Responsibilities: - Function as a member of the Technical Staff - Work with many application development projects concurrently - Create new tools and integrate them into customer environment - Design, develop, integrate, implement, test, and support .NET applications - Develop applications using .NET (both C# and VB.NET), using SQL Server - Work as a self motivated member of a talented team in a flexible fast paced work environment - Design and develop new utilities to automate tasks - Update current utilities to work with future versions within Electronic Data Discovery Education and Training Experience: - Minimum 1 year(s) of .NET development experience (C# and/or VB.NET) - Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Must be able to learn new applications and software tools quickly and independently. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Good analytical skills and understanding of the software development life cycle. - Must be familiar with Windows operating system environment, and MS Office tools, including Outlook and Access.
