A quick look at CIA Factbook's figures reveals that in India there is more equality of income consumption than in US or Canada or Brazil.
In India top 10% populaton (by income) consumes 33% of the income and bottom 10% consumes 3.5% --shocking ? https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/us.html See for US top 10% --- 33% bottom 10% ---1.8% for Canada: top 10% ---23% better than India bottom 10%--2.5% worse Brazil even worse: top 10% ---37% bottom 10% ---0.7% ONLY!!
