This guy is a great satirist. He is funnier than heck. He is one
of my most favorite comedians. He is EXTREMELY intelligent, he is
funny, and he is irreverent to the hilt.
But it takes a certain degree of sophistication to understand
where he is coming from. Obviously he is not everyone's cup of
tea.
Incidentally, he does not try to make fun of Kazhakstan.That is
apparent from the outrageous and over-the-top things that he makes up,
which only the utterly simpleminded would take seriously. But I
understand, not everyone has that sense of humor. And that
includes some very well-known and self-impressed Americans, whom he
interviewed incognito, and who made a spectacle of themselves, in
Candid Camera like unguardedness. I however have enjoyed that a lot
:-).
You must have missed : "---Even Mr. Nazarbayev's daughter, Dariga,
criticized that step, saying in an interview with one of the
newspapers she owns that Borat's site "damaged our image much less
than its closure."
