There is a silver lining for Assam in light of the recent incidents of regionalism in Maharashtra where two people were killed by a mob (that has never happened in Assam - not by a mob). Thus, hopefully in time MNCs will see no difference between Guwahati and Mumbai law and order situation and can be persuaded to shift base to Assam as well. Assam situation is improving Mumbai is going downhill.
