7 in fray for OIL CMD post

 DULIAJAN, June 26 – Public Enterprise Selection Board (PSEB) under the 
Department of Public Enterprise of Govt. of India headed by N K Sinha will 
decide the fate of the next Chairman and Managing Director of oil major, Oil 
India Limited tomorrow. The four-member PSEB accompanied by the country’s 
Petroleum Secretary will interview the seven aspiring candidates for the 
coveted post of the PSU in New Delhi. 

Out of the seven aspiring candidates three, Nayanmoni Bora, Director 
(Operation), Anant Kumar, Director (Finance) and Baikintha Nath Talukdar, 
Director (Exploration & Development) are from OIL itself and the rest four Ajit 
Kumar Hazarika, Director (Onshore), P.K Verma, Executive Director, A.A Khan, 
Executive Director and S.R Athawale, Executive Director are from ONGCL.

The officiating CMD of OIL, MR Pasrija is supposed to superannuate on November 
30 this year. Nayanmoni Bora and Ajit Hazarika appeared for the top post also 
when Pasrija was selected by the Board.
