Greetings Thakuria.

So who will be leading the parades this time? I hope you all won't put the old,
the infirm
and children in the front to bear the brunt of potential violence from your
detractors.

BTW, if only the 'patriotic' citizens will be celebrating, what will happen the
unpatriotic?
Are you folks going to tar and feather them and parade them as 'dexo-drwhis' ?
That will serve them
right, if you did. They would deserve it.

Do tell us about all the festivities and share some of those lovely pictures
like you did in previous
years. But, please be discrete. That picture of north-Indian/west Indian
children in Khaki and
Saffron hoisting flags at Guwahati, from last year I think, makes it look as
though there are no
Assamese children in your fair city, willing to take part in the noble
ceremonies. That won't be nice.

Finally, I must congratulate you journalists who are leading the effort. It is
killing two birds at one shot:
Journalists manufacturing news and then reporting them, while promoting
patriotism. Who could ask for
more :-)?
