The magazine Friends is a reflection of the earnest desire of the non- residents, hailing from the North Eastern States of India, to inspire, inform and guide the students and youths. Experts in diverge fields spreading across the globe; through their writings have shared their stories, work experience and knowledge through Friends. The 3rd issue of Friends was released on 17th December 2011 at the B.Borooah College , Guwahati where a number of writers and well-wishers participated. The magazine was also distributed among the students of Handique Girls' College, Guwahati and Tezpur University.
