There are hundreds of visitors from all the major countiesof Europe , China ,
Japan and pacific apart from North America and India as Ifound from traffic
sources. Let’s keep the momentum , I would like topropose organizing an
workshop forschool/ college students in the later part of December in Guwahati.
Lipika Dekawho has a Master's degree in Mathematics from Cambridge is visiting
, we alsohave Dr. Matiur Rahman, Adjunct Professor of Dalhousie University and
Editorin-Chief of the International Journal of Applied Mathematics and
EngineeringSciences and Dambaru Bhatta who iscurrently working as an Associate
Professor in Mathematics at the University ofTexas-Pan American (UTPA),
Edinburg, Texas. Dr. Anupam Saikia or Dr. Dilip Sharma can also be invited.
SurajitBorkotokey earlier met the Nobel laureate John Nash , I am sure he will
like to share the singular moment. I amalso in touch with Ashutosh Sarkar
Assistant Professor, Vinod Gupta School ofManagemen.(IIT Kharagpur) who is keen
on Ganit Sora. I am sure that you willreceive support.

Thank you very much for such a nice article about our efforts. Words such as
these, encourage us more to contribute in whatever way we can. There is still a
lot more we want to do, but due to limited resources and time, some activities
are in a back-seat, but there is no excuse and we will strive forward for more.
I am sure one day, the students in Assam will not feel in any way inferior to
their counterparts in the rest of the world. With Gonit Sora, we hope to make a
difference in the years to come. I am happy to inform that we have already
bought the server and domain till 2019, so that we do not feel lazy in any way
and stop. I am also happy to report that, last week we received out first
submissions from outside India and have published the first of the 10 articles
to be submitted.
I would also like to point out that I have not got any international
recognition so far in mathematics, this might be misconstrued by some. But
thank you, once again for taking the time out to write about us.
