During the Last Christmas and New Year Celebration 2016, there was no
incident of rash and negligent driving leading to accidents. The Late Night
Checking of vehicles by Police has helped prevent drunkard driving.
Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong expresses his
gratitude to the General Public of Shillong for their co-operation in
ensuring an incident free celebration of Christmas and New Year festivals.
