Barnali's demise reflects the shameless face of our society which has waken
up too late. In the last few days three other incidents have occured. I
don't know whether it is an extensive media coverage of "RAPE AND DEATH OF
eight year olds" (and such incidents occur regularly) or there is a sudden
rise of such incidents. We have been keeping a blind eye to many such
incidents in the past which were mere trifles to us.
Now let this the end of it. The end of the idea of such devilish tendencies.
We will have to act together. We make the laws and we must ensure that
social discipline is upheld in the roots of our society and not only in the
house of law.
We must collectively keep a vigil on such demons and it should not be th
responsibilities of the parents of eight year olds. Warn them, bring them to
justice and if still not reformed give them the hardest of punishments.
Judge them and if convicted punish them fast. Let the media publish the
severity of the punishments the demons get so that others get warned.
