Got to see read the editorial. Thanks for the ref. Dilip. It WAS a good editorial, and does set things in perspective. I am particularly pleased about how it deals with the 'dialects' with the respect they deserve and with their importance to the integrity of the Assamese language. And I say this without my tongue tucked away in my cheek either, as some netter friends accuse me of time to time :-).
