Dear Kedar:
My personal apologies to ASA for the error in describing the organization as Assam Society of North America instead of Assam Society of America, in our news releases about Assam 2003 held in St. Louis. As the President of the Host Committee, I DID review the release before it went out, but I missed the error. It was purely an inadvertent error, and we hope members of ASA, of which I too am one, will be able to excuse us for the misstep. I also thank, once again, both ASA the organization and its many individual members who not only donated generously for the effort monetarily, but also offered immensely valuable suggestions and help in kind, not to mention participation in the cultural events to make it such a success.
