Raiz,
Since I am not able to post a message with an attachment, please checkout the
following link for
the appeal - www.aidindia.org/assam. It has a word document as well as a PDF.

Reasons why this is a good fit for your donation
a. AID is involved.
b. RVC was founded by Ravindranath - who has been recommended highly by several
sources,
including Shantikam Hazarika, Director of Assam Institute of Management. He has been
known to
work rather than be in the limelight.
c. RVC's President is Dr Kulendu Pathak....students from Cotton will remember him as
the active
Head of Dept of Physics. He is currently the VC of Dibrugarh University
d. A few people had asked if this was a govt. initiative. This is NOT a govt
initiative. This is
purely AID volunteer and contacts network.

I would request you to forward to your non-Axomiya friends too. Please note that even
a small
amount makes a difference in someone's lives.

Thanks,
Partha
