*** Has little to do with security, food and shelter, but everything to do
with pointing out the immense stupidity of Indian bureaucracy; in this
instance of a living person not being able to prove he is alive to the
keepers of the govt. machinery.



*** While I would agree with the comments on US-INS insensitivity, it is
however a little more understandable, considering the lure of staying back
being as strong as it is.


*** Question that ought to have been asked, however, is the propensity of
desi-derring-doers qualifying  for the prize, so often. WHY ? What is it
about Indian govt. and 'science' that jump out to draw such negative
attention?
