THE NORTH EAST TIMES NRL launches corporate website NET STAFFER
GUWAHATI, OCT 13: Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) launched its corporate website. At a brief function in its New Delhi office, the NRL Managing Director, BK Das, typed out the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) http://www.nrl.co.in in the presence of the company staff members and distinguished guests. Formed as the result of the Assam accord, NRL has become one of the most technologically advanced refining companies in India. During 2002-03, the company registered a profit after tax of Rs 174.63 crores ona turnover of Rs 2804.74 crores. However, as a corporate entity, awareness about NRL and its visibility in the media has not been commensurate with its stature and performance. The website is expected to take care of providing a communication platform to the company. Besides containing information on the company- its history, achievements and business performance - the website also contains details about NRL's environs and its social commitments. The website was designed and developed by New Delhi based advertising agency Brahmaputra Vignette. The website can be used for corporate communication, product information dissemination and e-commerce.
