I'm sorry that my earlier mail --message 07473 --was erroneous info on Dr Rahul Tongia. He is indeed as sincere and scholarly as anyone. As per thee info I've received later --he had indeed proceeded to Brown Univ on full scholarship --and continued his brilliant career.
Though I must say I was alluding to his elder brother and my batchmate at school --Dr Rohit Tongia--who though a mischievous schoolboy has grown into a respectable doctor -doing his residency in New Yorrk --now.
I'm sorry about the mixup.
I request Dr J. Kalita to please delete/remove message no 07473 from assamlist -which pertains to that mis-information on Dr Rahul.
It is causing him problem as well.
An early action will be welcomed by all concerned -i hope!
