I am very much delighted by reading a piece of news,printed in " Axomiya Protidin", highlighting the resounding success of Dr.Makhon Thakur in British politics, in which he trounced two British rivals and got elected to the local council.By all accounts,it is a brilliant achievement by an ex-pat Assamese.
