Recently I visited Kokrajhar, where we run several
schools amongst our Bodo brother/sisters. Students
were asked to write an assay about the Idea of Bharat.
And, to my surprise, many of them had written
brilliant, better than many of our so called Assamese
intellectuals. Here is one example (after my
translation from assamese):
the idea of Bharat

for those colonial slaves, and their invader
Islam/Christian, idea of India is a confusing mess.
So, for them, they need to think/search for an idea of
India. But for us, Hindus, we do not need an idea of
India. We are borne with the idea of Bharat i.e.
India. For us, India is not an idea. It is in our
biology, it is in our heart and soul. We are part of
the Bharat Mata. And, we do not need you folk to
lecture on us about that holy idea of Bharat. What you
need to do is to pack your bag, and prepare for the
Yudhha, the holy war, where those who believe in the
synthetic idea of India, the slaves of Islam will have
to fight against us, the army of Hindutva. Forget
about the vote. Prepare for the Dharma Yudhha. Bikram,
Assam, the land where Islam was defeated eighteen
time. The land which is now preparing the next
generation of Islamic slayers.
