Sorry to learn that Manoj is sick, my prayer for quick recovery!

The program would have been even better and enlightening if there were no Vaishnava abuse. I do not think someone went there with haunting eyes, but who walked out from the seminar hall immediately hearing satriya announcement followed there spiritual guidelines - both Damodaradeva/Sankaradeva followers walked out. It would have been the case with other Vaishnava too should they know the scenario.

I have questions to Sujal though:
  • Why dint you sign your name Xusal instead of Sujal in the following email?
  • What is this criteria that enables you to x-ify Vaishnava name/nomenclature but not your name?

Hello enlightened people,

I guess we are all feeling rather enlightened after this weekend!

In the true spirit of "Jonaki", I think our community shined over the weekend in the eyes of many - the curious, the anxious, the skeptics, the intellects, the ignorant, all alike.

From the red and white rhythms of "komor beka" that stick to your senses, to the haunting eyes and taunting maneuvering of the fingers in the spell-binding "xatria" dance, from the ever popular rendition of the excitement and spirit of the season by the now-seasoned local bihu dancers to the sketches, paintings and displays that transformed the venue to a meusem-like setting - it was all a fantasting experience and effort.

Thank you to all who made this happen. And we wish Manoj a speedy recovery.

-Sujal
