I was not taking issue with the polling over the numbers
participating, A.
It was about claims that a referendum will accomplish
nothing.
Those who are serious and honest about their desire for peace can
put the issue to rest by calling ULFA's bluff and holding a referendum
as ULFA is proposing. What is there to lose for those who are sure
they would win?
Unless, of course they are NOT sure how the results might turn
out, won't it? The results might come out the opposite of what they
claim. And that would be a scary outcome for them. That is why they
will never agree to it, their bluster to the contrary not
withstanding.
What do you think?
