I just returned after wandering/backpacking for the last two months in
Germany. While I was there I visited a number of ex-concentration
camps. In the Sachsenhausen camp, about 45 kilometres north of Berlin,
there is a gallery that has pictures of famous people/leaders who had come
to the camp. The only picture of an Indian there, and surprisingly so, is
that of Dev Kanta Borooah, the then president of the INC, who was at
Sachsenhausen in 1976.
Just thought of sharing it in the Assam-net.
