BRITISH DELEGATION CALLS ON TARUN GOGOI
GUWAHATI January 5: A British delegation has urged Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to project the state abroad as a major tourist destination.
According to information, the members of the british House of Lords, Navaneet Dholakia and lady Ann called on the Chief Minister on Tuesday evening and were impressed by the natural beauty and bounty of the state.They further appreciated the rich cultural heritage of the state and said Mr Gogoi that the state had potential aplenty to emerge as the most sought tourist destination. .
