Happy Magh-Bihu to all from me as well.

In Rajasthan and Gujrat we celebrate Makar Sakranti on Jan14 - shifting of something related to Tropic of Cancer- with Kite flying whole dy long. The whole market is closed and everyone goes on the roof in the cold winter and flies kites in the sun to beats of loud music.

Happy Magh-Bihu, Everybody. Today is 'Uruka' by the way, if any of you forgot - due to your hectic schedule here.

Umesh-ji: I think 'Lohri' the bonfire festival of from Punjab during the harvesting season is similar to this Bihu on the month of Magha, for the Assamese. Do you have anything like this in Rajasthan?

With best wishes,
