I agree - Reliance is providing a very efficient and reliable service.
Also, when using Reliance, if a cell phone (in India) is switched off when you call, you get a message in Assamese (and in English and Hindi of course) - a very sweet female voice in Assamese, reminds me of the voice from Markin Kalpataru.
After you set up your account using the net, just call 1-866-3-RELIANCE and just dial the number starting from 91 (no need to dial 011)....crystal clear connection..you will feel like you're talking to someone living next door - 'usorore` paaraar kaarbaar logot kotha paataar nisina laage'. It is cheaper and the connection is clearer than my phone company that provides us the service here.
There are many features like easy dial, smart calling (from cell phone) - check it out from the web site.
So anyway, India is developing fast. And once corruption and poverty go away, an organized traffic system replaces the chaotic system common (still with cows resting on the roads -unharmed) in every city in India, people from other places will have to be on their toes to keep up with hers.
