Dr
Jiten Borpujari is from Jorhat. I believe he did a Ph D from Cambridge and
later became an economist working for the United Nations. My wife and I had
the pleasure of dining with the Borpujaries at Dr Nasim Ahmedâs house in
Washington about five years ago. I understand Borpujari has since retired but
may still be casually working for the World Bank.
