The Sentinel dated June 1, 2005 carried the news of the famous Bofors case. No doubt it will be widely reported in the Press. After 16 years and at the cost of Rs250 crores the High Court pleads inability to proceed with the case for lack of proper evidence which the CBI failed to produce. Although the CBI has been censured for poor investigation, it is meaningless after the lapse of 16 years. I hope netters will find a lot to comment upon this biggest scandal of our times. The caption above only mentions Hinduja but I think many more people were involved. |
