I have great admiration for Aung San Suu Kyi who acting a great
passive cause simply by statying in Burma silently. Today she is the conscience
of Burma. Please note that she was educated in India and was very much
influenced by Gandhi and Nehru. I compare her to the great Dalai
Lama. At the end of the day, we will see that her passive force in Burma
is stronger than thousand insurgents acting in Burma.

Subject: [Assam] Burma--Why doesn't she
leave ?? -and China, Saudi Arabia??
Aung San Suu Kyi became 60 today and she doesn't want to leave Burma -
though the country's regime allows her -as in 1999 to be with her British
husband at his death bed.
I wonder Western govts do not take the cause of removal of dictatorship
in Pakistan, China or Saudi Arabia or Libya also -and speak out against
French or Indian govts attempts to forge links with Burma (Myanmar)
